ENTREPRENEURAL JOURNEY OF RUPARANI
Started my journey as an entrepreneur in 1997as I was a registered pharmacist I started pharmacy store in Bangalore Ramamurthy Nagar I couldn’t run it for long as from childhood I had dream of serving society in some other ways…then I started candle industry in 2000 employed only women and created a innovative idea of job work sitting at home to BPL women and used to train them and buy back scheme this supported lot of women for there livelihood along with started hobby center where I thought lot of handicrafts across Karnataka and housewives made them to become entrepreneur to balance family. Then I wanted to serve rural women I started training rural women in candle making, tailoring, home cleaning products etc. more than 3 thousands women’s in rural. Then I wanted give market for these products so stated taking part in international exhibition to market these with support of Gok, GOI travelled to many countries started exporting candles and terracotta jeweler to Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, US & Poland etc.
